Led by an experienced interpretive guide, this half-day adventure blends gentle exploration with rich storytelling, wildlife awareness, and unforgettable winter scenery. No prior snowshoeing experience is required, making this an accessible and rewarding winter outing for all ages and abilities.

The Adventure Tour is Canmore’s flagship caving tour and has been recognized as a Canadian Signature Experience. As the longest tour we offer in Rat’s Nest Cave, the Adventure Tour is the complete package.

The Explorer Tour may be our shortest cave tour, but it is by no means short on fun and excitement. Your guide will introduce you to the amazing world of caves, spending approximately 2 hours underground crawling past prehistoric bones, investigating our ancient cave formations and even squeezing into places like the warm-up and challenge squeezes (if you so choose of course!).

The Grotto Canyon Ice Walk may be a quick approach, but it’s full of unforgettable winter magic. Your guide will lead you into a narrow frozen canyon where icy waterfalls, ancient pictographs, and towering rock walls surround you at every turn. With ice cleats strapped on, you’ll explore the frozen creek bed, take in breathtaking views, and discover one of the Bow Valley’s hidden winter gems. Hot chocolate, snacks, and chances to spot wildlife make this a must-do adventure for anyone visiting Canmore.
