Banff Gondola

Transportation

A mountaintop experience by day or night.

Ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain and take in sweeping views of six mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the town of
Banff far below. At the top, stroll the scenic boardwalk, explore the mountaintop discovery centre, and dine with a view at Sky Bistro or
Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen.

By day, discover panoramic peaks and fresh alpine air. From November to March, visit after sunset for Nightrise — an immersive light and sound experience created with the Stoney Nakoda Nation that celebrates the connection between land, sky, and story. Wander glowing pathways, hear stories of the Four Wonders, and see Banff sparkle far below under the winter moon.

Whether under sunshine or starlight, the Banff Gondola is a timeless way to experience the Rockies.
