Step aboard a vintage-inspired open-top coach and journey through Banff’s most iconic winter sights — Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Viewpoint, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, and Banff Avenue — as your local storyteller brings the Rockies to life.
As evening falls, ascend the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain — included in your tour is the eight-minute gondola ride, access to the mountaintop boardwalk, the state-of-the-art Above Banff interpretive centre (with theatre, exhibits and panoramic viewpoints) and dining privileges at the summit restaurants. From November through March you’ll stay for Nightrise, an immersive light, sound and storyteller-led experience developed with the Stoney Nakoda Nation beneath the winter moon.
The Gondola operator also offers: one free child admission for each paying adult when riding in the first two hours of the day, and children age 5 and under ride free anytime.
