Take your Via Ferrata experience to the next level with a full-day adventure along the legendary Icefields Parkway. Climb dramatic alpine rock faces near Abraham Lake while surrounded by some of the most striking landscapes in the Canadian Rockies.

Led by ACMG-certified guides, this experience combines vertical climbing, scenic travel, and interpretive storytelling into one unforgettable day.

Choose your challenge — from a moderate route on Mount Stelfox to a more advanced climb that pushes your limits — all while securely attached to a fixed cable system the entire time.

What to Expect

• Full-day guided experience including travel, climbing, and return
• Scenic drive along the Icefields Parkway with interpretive commentary
• Safety briefing and full gear orientation before climbing
• Continuous connection to a fixed cable system for maximum safety
• Climb vertical and traversing sections using ladders, rungs, and rock features
• Approximately 2–3 hours of climbing with incredible alpine views
• Short hike approach and return from the climbing area

• Experience Required: None for beginner route; advanced route for experienced participants

• Beginner Route:
  Suitable for guests with moderate fitness. No prior climbing experience required.
• Advanced Route:
  A more physical and exposed climb for those with prior climbing or Via Ferrata experience (comparable to ~5.9 gym climbing).
