Kids Paddle Sports Camp (Ages 9–14)

Summer Day Camp in Canmore

A week of paddling, water safety and outdoor fun in the Bow Valley.

Our day camp introduces kids to canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding with a focus on water safety, teamwork and confidence. Campers build real paddling skills while having a blast outdoors with our certified instructors.

What to Expect

  • Canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding
  • Water safety, basic strokes and rescue awareness
  • Teamwork, leadership and outdoor problem-solving games
  • Small groups with experienced, certified instructors

What’s Included

  • Certified instructors (vulnerable sector checked)
  • All paddling equipment and PFDs
  • Safety briefings, first aid and communication kits

Course Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Ages: 9 to 14
  • Location: drop-off and pick-up in Canmore (1350 Railway Ave, Unit 100)
  • Requirements: comfortable swimming and following group instructions; no paddling experience needed

What to Bring

  • Closed-toe water shoes
  • Swimsuit and a water layer or wetsuit (rentals may be available)
  • Sun hat, sunscreen and a rain jacket
  • Packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle
  • Towel and a dry, warm change of clothes
  • Any personal medication
