A Paddle Canada instructor course for paddlers ready to teach, coach and lead others. Develop your teaching, coaching, safety, leadership and group-management skills for instructor, guiding or outdoor education roles.

Course Details

• Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM daily
• Location: Canmore and Bow Valley waters
• Prerequisites: Paddle Canada skills certification at the relevant level (or equivalent experience) and current first aid; contact us to confirm

What to Bring

• Your own canoe and paddling gear if you have them (rentals available – ask when booking)
• Wetsuit or dry suit, helmet and PFD
• Warm non-cotton layers and a full change of clothes
• Packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle
• Notebook and pen
