The Kananaskis River is approximately 45 minutes from Canmore. All trips meet at Canmore Adventures, 1350 Railway Ave, and transportation to the river put-in is included.
The minimum age is 6 years old (minimum weight 50 lbs / 22 kgs). Age requirements may vary depending on river water levels on the day of your tour.
Everything is provided — a professional rafting guide, raft, paddles, helmet, personal flotation device (PFD), wetsuit, wetsuit jacket, neoprene booties, transportation to the river, and a full safety briefing.
The rafting season runs June through September. Tours depart at 8:30 AM (morning) and 12:30 PM (afternoon) with a minimum of 1 guest required to run.
